Marinated Coleslaw
Ingredients- 3 c. shredded green cabbage
- 3 c. shredded red cabbage
- 1 large green pepper chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 T. sugar
Instructions
- Combine the cabbage, green pepper, and onion and mix well. Add the 1 c. sugar and mix.
- In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, oil, salt and 1 T. sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour over the cabbage mixture. Mix well. Cool. Cover and refrigerate.
